Starting November 1, 2024,
Finland will increase salary thresholds for certain residence permits,
including those for degree holders, researchers, start-up entrepreneurs, and
self-funded researchers. The new income requirements, reviewed annually, will
ensure applicants have sufficient financial resources. Thresholds for students,
au pairs, and working holiday permits will also rise. Employers should plan
accordingly.
