announced changes to visa fees and immigration policies, effective from October
1, 2024. Student visa fees will rise from NZD 300 to NZD 485, and the charge
will increase from NZD 95 to NZD 265. Post-study work visa fees will drop to
NZD 320, but the charge will rise sharply. The Accredited Employer Work Visa
(AEWV) will also see a slight fee decrease but a large charge increase. The
government has introduced new English language and skill requirements for
migrant workers in low-skilled jobs. These changes aim to align fees with
processing costs while remaining competitive globally. Zealand
