Starting on September 30, 2024, Alberta has
introduced a new Expression of Interest (EOI) system for its Alberta Advantage
Immigration Program (AAIP) worker streams. Applicants must submit a Worker EOI
through the AAIP portal, where they will be ranked based on factors like
education, work experience, language skills, and family ties in Alberta. There
is no fee for the submission. Alberta will begin worker stream draws in mid to
late October, prioritizing candidates with higher scores.
