International students from certain countries must apply for ETIAS before entering the EU starting in 2025 for short-term stays up to 90 days within 180 days.
The European Union (EU)
has announced that international students from certain countries will need to
apply for ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) before
entering the EU starting in 2025. ETIAS is a special permission allowing stays
in 30 European countries for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Students
from visa-free countries must apply with a valid passport, email address,
online form, and €7 fee. Be cautious of fake websites and only use the official
ETIAS site. Apply before departing for studies in Europe, as ETIAS is required
for short-term stays but doesn’t guarantee entry.
